Who is Nutrition Therapy Associates?
Nutrition Therapy Associates, Inc. is a group of Registered and Licensed Dietitians that has been serving the San Antonio, Texas area since 1995. We provide nutrition counseling for adults and children, on a variety of medical nutrition therapy topics.
What Is a Dietitian?
A Registered Dietitian (RD) is an expert in the field of human nutrition. An RD has at least a Bachelor's Degree in nutrition, and many RDs have graduate degrees. Registered Dietitians are also required to complete an internship at an accredited university, and take a rigorous registration exam. All RDs at Nutrition Therapy Associates are also Licensed to practice in the state of Texas.
Do You Accept Insurance?
YES, we accept insurance! However, most insurance companies will only cover nutrition therapy for patients with diabetes. Please call your insurance company for more information on your coverage. We are providers for Aetna, Cigna, Humana, United Health, American Specialty Healthcare, and Privated Healthcare Systems. Referral forms are available upon request.
